Getting Started with Quantum Testnet

Welcome to the Quantum Network Testnet quick start guide! This section will guide you through the essential steps to get you started. Follow the instructions below to set up your environment, bridge test ETH, and perform basic tasks such as adding an RPC network.

1. Setting Up Your Wallet

  1. Install a Compatible Wallet:

    • Download and install a web3-compatible wallet (e.g., MetaMask).

    • Create a new wallet or import an existing one.

  2. Configure Network Settings:

  • Simply visit our explorer at: https://explorer.quantum-net.io and click the button found on the bottom of the page to add Quantum Network Testnet to your Metamask Wallet.

Note: You may encounter several warning messages when adding the Quantum RPC, such as:

"This network URL doesn't match a known provider for this chain ID."
"It looks like this network's display name doesn't match its chain ID."
"It looks like this network's symbol doesn't match this chain ID."

However, as long as the RPC information is correctly entered, there is no need for
concern. These warnings do not indicate any risk.

2. Bridging Test ETH

  1. Access the ANY Sepolia ETH Faucet:

  2. After Collecting / Mining Sepolia ETH:

    • Send the Test ETH to our bridge address on Sepolia:

    0x39E5e91A495072de6daB2B1c3afAFa656Ef6e52d

  3. Confirm You've Received QTM:

    • Once the ETH is sent, our automated bridging protocol will take the Sepolia ETH, convert it to QTM tokens, and send them back to your sending wallet on the Quantum Network.

    • Please give the bridging process 2 to 10 minutes to complete your process and receive your QTM on Quantum Testnet.

3. Performing Basic Tasks
